Subcity Sessions - Sewerbratz

Featuring performances from Ezekiel, Rosesleeves, Pposture, and Paprika, Subcity Radio invites the genre-defying collective Sewerbratz into the studio ahead of the Glasgow stop of their UK tour this Friday.
Manchester native Ezekiel found a viral hit in "help_urself" in 2019, and has since toured internationally and collaborated with the rest Sewerbratz collective, as well as artists like Alice Longyu Gao and WHOKILLEDXIX.
With his latest EP "PIXIE", Rosesleeves presented a raw and emotional attempt to "reinvent the ouroboros [he] was born in", with songs that wouldn't be out of place on playlists intended to work out to or playlists intended to sob to. Citing influence from FKA twigs, Purity Ring, Mitski, and Radiohead, Rosesleeves' alternative pop vision hasn't stopped evolving since his debut album in 2021.
Glaswegian local Pposture boasts collaborations with the likes of Glaive, Kurtains, and Wido, and creates music from indie pop to digicore. Starting out as a producer, Pposture (short for "poor posture") began adding vocals to his music in 2019 and has been making waves on the SoundCloud scene ever since.
They are joined by Paprika, another Glasgow artist, who is supporting them at their concert at SWG3, this Friday the 5th of May.
