This month’s episode traces a South American contour in sound. Opening through polyrhythmic lattices, serrated percussion and slow-bloom bass. Fragments of voice and drum circle around broken-beat architectures.
The first hour is a lovely guest mix from Viiaan, Mexico City born and Berlin based producer and DJ, co-founder and head of Voragine. It is 100% originals, sequenced from her own catalogue and the Voragine imprint, travelling through tensile ambient and polyrhythmic pressure. In the second hour, Aiolos maps a route from percussive landscapes to IDM-flavoured galloping techno.
