Unearthly Matters resumes broadcasting for the first time in 2015 and I'm really excited to say that it will involve a very special pre-recorded live set incorporating various synthesisers, effects pedals, machine improvisations and many other experiments from a great inspiration and someone who I look up to very highly that has been participating in this life long exploration / quest to understand what music means to human beings.
The significant impact on society it can have and what it can do to help encourage our inner spirits to discover how important it is to generate ideas, develop social criticism, generate discussion and reappropriate what we hear, see and feel around us in the hope of bringing together many different beliefs and cultures together through the implementation of sonic frequencies. If you've listened to any of his mixtapes / selections or read his very informative / insightful blogs you will know that I'm talking about Mark Maxwell aka Mother aka DJ Feedback aka 1/2 of The Creeps aka M.H.M.
We've been planning this for quite sometime so it feels great to finally get the chance to broadcast Mark's set. So understandably I'm really looking forward to this broadcast and hope that you are too!
Here is a link for Mark's soundcloud page whose selections on every mix that he has recorded for Berceuse Heroique, The Living Mountain and a Glasgow spotlight special for Dummy Magazine have so far displayed a vast knowledge and careful consideration toward attention to detail makes them far more than a collection of songs blending together, but well crafted compositions instead.23:40 - 01:20
