The Vile Arts Radio Hour
In the moments leading up to the show, Vile finds himself alone in the studio, with interviews on every format from reel to reel through to MP3. Will he find time to run the competition, chat to Kronos, get some John Knox Sex Action and make Bigfoot's and Cry parrot feel at home?
Tune in to see what happens. It is anybody's guess at this point...
"I can't even revise for my exams anymore, without you demolishing the studio, can I?"
Gareth's usual brash exterior was, momentarily, replaced by a grimace. "I did it on purpose."
"Okay," Harry replied. His demeanour remained unruffled, and the smooth tone of his response, familiar to regular listeners as the only way to bring Gareth out of his flights of artistic fantasy, allowed the host to make his plea.
"I wanted you to know I can't run the show without you."
"But you had done all the work. The interview with Kronos - admittedly, I arranged the call and the technology. And the chat with Watson for King of Scotland - you actually had a radio celebrity and the star of Only an Excuse there. Well, I edited that. And the John Knox Sex Club. And Fielding Hope rescuing you with a playlist. Plus the guys from Big Foot's. You even had a competition to win tickets at Tramway for S'poart."
"It isn't complete without you."
"It isn't complete if you leave the microphone off for forty five minutes either."
And so, in silence, Harry spends a sunny Sunday fixing up the audio. It sounds great now.15:00 - 17:00
