football // discussion // analysis // irreverent // shinty
The Auchterarder Chippy is a football discussion show with a difference. Named after the famous Perthshire chip shop which Inverness Caley Thistle frequent on their way back from away matches, the show is a relaxed, irreverent slot dedicated to non-Old Firm football. Presented by four renegades who follow Stranraer, Aberdeen, Partick Thistle and Fort William, the show covers the weekend's upcoming matches in the SPFL, Highland League and various European Leagues. Discussion, analysis, and guest slots are intertwined with light hearted features. The Black and Gold also get a mention, with a section of the show dedicated to discussing the fortunes of Glasgow University's sports teams.
