Initial Itch

All rise!
We've been blessed with a section from Hole In My Pocket's Sunday Service this week. Pulling together the work of a community of creative Glaswegians for a secular alternative to church, it's presided over by Reverend Gary McNair, and features Rhymes With Purple's Waiting for Groucho, a sermon from John Fitzpatrick of Trongate 103, and a chorus led by Fish and Game's Eilidh MacAskill.
HIMP's Sunday Service is back in the Arches lobby on Sunday 10th October.
Until then, you can listen to Naval architect Stephen Redman and air-wave admiral Rob Jones talk with Dol Eoin of Potential Strangers about philosophy, biology and ignoring people on Harris. You can hear Dol live on Wednesday 6th October at Tchai Ovna and on 20th November at the CCA.
Next week we'll be previewing work from the Mitchell Theatre's new show 'He Was Happy' by Gabriella Baronello, and you can expect an explosion of music, wisdom and chaos from the launch night for Toad's Caravan, a new collective of filmmakers, animators and artists based in the west end. Hallelujah!
