The Weill Arts

The Vile Arts Radio Hour // 1500-1700 09.09.11

the weill arts

And they are back. While Producer Harry Parlane spent the summer in his hill-top retreat, slowly attuning his ears to the cosmic radio (they say he can now pick up transmissions from India just by squinting), Vile took a less mystical path and bum-rushed Fresh Air - the radio station of the year according to the New Scottish Music Awards - with a five hour show of anti-talent show chaos. Reunited on air for the first time since early July, the dynamic duo have been arguing about dubstep by text for the past fortnight.

As always, the programme is packed - to Harry's despair. Exclusive tracks from Holy Mountain, Bigg Tajj, John Knox Sex Club - interviews with Linden Tree Theatre, a visit from Alan Miller out of RPZ and, hopefully, Mr Fielding Hope from Cry Parrot. Plus Vile reveals an extract of his interview with cabaret darling Camille, and explains why he didn't go for a drink with her.
