There's some notable new music releases coming at you in the next few weeks, namely Japandroids' follow-up to 2009's "Post-Nothing" as well as the long awaited new El-P record. I've got some advance cuts from those LPs here in the first half of this episode, which has a hectic, non-stop flow. The second half of this one is a droney, slow-moving beast owing largely to this week's recommended record: Horseback's "The Gorgon Tongue: Impale Golden Horn + Forbidden Planet" compilation. Hope you enjoy the variety here. Just doin' my thing (with a little help from Tim this week).
No show on the 2nd of June I'm afraid - I'm off to Primavera Sound in Barcelona. I'll be back on the 9th, maybe with some cool stories, who knows.
