Bah-Humbug! PGTR's Consumermas Special!

Pop Goes The Revolution // 1200-1300 18.12.08

bah-humbug!!! pgtr's consumermas special!!!!

As the rest of the Subcity schedule give into the festive spirit (we've heard rumours that Armed Response are going to play a show with just drum n bass versions of Silent Night and All I Want For Christmas Is You and Rock n Roll Meltdown will play prog versions of I'm Walking Through The Air and perusian psychodelia versions of White Christmas), Pop Goes The Revolution does what is to be expected of it and goes in the opposite direction.

This week instead of celebrating the wonders of Christmas George manifests into Scrooge himself and busily sets about telling everyone why they should go into the festive season in a pit of despair.

So the Cliff list arrives once more to select the worst Christmas single of all time. You can nominate now for the worst Christmas pop song of all time, right from Bing to Wizard. So get nominating now. And Nikki's News is around one more time to be telling you exactly what you should be doing with your free time.

Join us this Thursday as we promise you no more than two Christmas songs, both of which will be definitely pretty alternative, as well as plugging another 8 well selected bands from around the country in between the usual sarcastic cynical attacks on the structures of pop culture.
