You're Not From Round Here Are You...?
Pop Goes The Revolution // 1700-1900 15.10.10
doing what we do best....
After spending the first few episodes of this series ogling over the summer releases that had been sitting waiting for some proper air time for far too long, we finally decided enough was enough. So we've gone back to basics with an episode of more obscurity than normal.
It's the first episode of Pop Goes The Revolution with not a single Scottish Act, instead they're from as far afield ad Pennsylvania to Plymouth from Brighton to Bristol. We've sent off the internet scout party, and come back with some brilliant tunes from across the UK.
We also played: a total of 14 completely unsigned releases. 13 songs by artists never played on the show before. 8 tunes that can all be downloaded completely for free off bandcamp.
Been about time we got round to a solid episode of totally new music.
Tune in and coming globe trekking with us, as we travel through the uncharted, new musical lands.
