Friends In America: the sound of fireworks being set off in your heart. They're our guests in this month's show and in five years' time we'll still look back on this moment and be filled with pride.
On The Pop Cop blog's Top 10 tips of 2012 post I described the band thus:
"Crisp melodies, an indie-rock entity with genuine variation and originality, four engrossing musicians with distinct personalities including a dapper frontman with astute lyrics you can/want to make out. Their debut EP is due for release in early 2012, but check them out live – they're heartbreakingly magnificent. I've got relatives I don't love half as much as this band."
