new life presents asthmatic astronaut
Tonight's episode of New Life features an exclusive live session from Asthmatic Astronaut. Originally a member of Scottish hip-hop pioneers and internationally renowned live act Underling, Asthmatic Astronaut has been releasing glitchy, woozy, beautiful electronica through labels such as Tru Thoughts, Wah Wah 45s and his own Black Lantern Music (www.blacklanternmusic.com) since 2009. He has been described by The Skinny as "one of the most exciting artists currently working in Scotland" and he played a blinding set for us in Bloc a few months ago, so needless to say we're hugely excited about his performance on tonight's show.
