shows // Initial Itch
Initial Itch is a weekly radio digest of the best new theatre, music, comedy, poetry, performance and art from this apparently dear and green place.
We also host a monthly night of similar things at the 13th Note Cafe.
Join Rob, Colin, and Steve of Flatrate - a glasgow-based arts and performance umbrella with a passion for new, exciting local talent - on a weekly journey into various interesting and mildly foolish things.
Expect interviews, reportage, new music, skits, poems and musings rolled up into an hour of radio adventures.
Get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your poetry, music, plays, idiot rants and surplus art. We want to hear it, and then we want to put it on the air.
part deux of "the ride"+ save the ramshorn theatre
Spring has definitely sprung! There is a buzz in Glasgows air as we recap with interviews from local residents and spectators on the events of Kelvingrove Park, plus the second installment to "The Ride" by R.A Davis.
The excitement continues because at the 13th Note tonight we have an Initial Itch election special, where you can hear from every major political party candidate to decide your vote on the upcoming election. In addition to brilliant music from Sam Casey and poetry from Anita Govan.

the ride, by robin davis + pina + larkin
On a glorious Bank holiday Monday, we play the first episode of our long awaited radio play "The Ride" by R.A.Davis. Sadly Rob and Steve couldn't be with us, so we have Philip Larkin's Toads and Thomas Hood's Song of the Shirt instead in their honour.
Be sure to check out "Political Itch" at the 13th note this Monday, with candidates from every major political party coming down for to argue at you for your votes, with music from Sam Casey and some other art surprises.

the dead man's waltz | hal duncan
A really exciting (and slightly creepy)* show this week, with a live session and chat from The Dead Man's Waltz, purveyors of superb folk noir, and a short story recorded at last month's Initial Itch Live from Hal Duncan.
Enjoy, and be sure to follow us on facebook for more such wonders
