I Know You Got Soul !

Funky Junk // 2100-2235 28.04.12

i know you got soul !

"...If you didn't you wouldn't be in here."

I know you got soul. Okay.

This episode of Funky Junk sees a return to form for down right dirty Soul and Funk tracks.

Slightly neglected over recent episodes (in place of those damn fine 'Rhythmic Blues), we play a selection of outright funk & soul, taken from the vast amounts of recently procurred albums, compilations and collections. Tracks from various volumes of the "Soulshakers" compilations , "The World of Daptone Records", "Studio Soul" and some freebee MoJo compilations. A host of talent courtesy of Lyn Collins, Bobby Byrd, The Budos Band, Charles Bradley, Ken Booth, Bill Withers and many many more!
