Well that was fun.

Thank you very much to the plethora of guests that graced the studio for an unusually late night episode of Foreign Thoughts.

Remember in order to enter the Milk Competition to win tickets to the birthday party in Flat 0/1, all you have to do is come up with a sing title Drive-By Argument would be proud of, and send it to ohlaura@hotmail.co.uk orrrrr post it on the Facebook wa' of Foreign Thoughts.

There will be more shows, more guests and more shambolic goings on sometime soon.

Foreign Thoughts // 23.05.12 // What was it for?

WE ARE BACK!

Wednesday night, at 10pm, we are playing host to the lovely Milk Glasgow girls, along with Drive By Argument and Jocasta Sleeps to give away two tickets to the Milk Birthday Special in Flat 0/1 on the 6th June.

Stoke and Callum will be providing some lovely acoustic songs, and I will be providing some inane chat with my co-host Weaver (if he turns up) and an assortment of brilliant new songs all wrapped up in a 2 hour package. Yass!

it's a wrap...

Foreign Thoughts // 15.12.11

today's show was madness. utter madness. We had 3 bands, 6 hosts, some booze and some santa hats. Midnight Lion's Stewart did a fantastic stripped down set, followed by Kettle of Kite's Tom Stearn. Then, the Dirty Beggars did a stomping set of Americana infused indie lovelyness.

Don't forget that to win tickets to Fatherson at the Arches this sunday you can send in the best drawn impression of Ross Leighton. Whoever wins gets 2 free tickets and their drawing put up on Ross's wall.

Show will be up to listen again as of tomorrow morning.

well, i can't wait for christmas...

Foreign Thoughts // 15.12.11

it's that time of year again...where I get a wee red nose from the cold and warm myself up by listening to There Will Be Fireworks non-stop. Aye, this is pretty much what happens all year round but with more mince pies and Wham on the radio.

Tune in tomorrow from 12-2 to listen to some festive treats from Scottish bands as well as a cheeky wee session from a secret guest and interview with Miss Milk herself, Hannah Currie.

I am going to bring some mulled wine in a flask and some merry men.

Festive love from Foreign thoughts.

hello, hello...

Foreign Thoughts // 17.11.11

I am getting quite into the 2 guests per show thing. Today we had the lovely Whigs and Rakes and the ever handsome Ryan Joseph Burns in the studio to sing to us.

I also had part-time co host David Weaver, of Detour and Fantastic Man fame bringing me in some songs and some epileptic fits.

have a wee listen, ta.
