There will be random chat, as always. The main format will consist of the two of us arguing a lot over which songs to play, with the winner then playing the song they have successfully argued in favour of. Songs of similar genre, songs by the same artists. A "vs" theme if you will. Old vs new, male sensibilities vs female sensibilities, nu rave vs old skool, Scotland vs England, crap vs Genesis. (NOT to be confused with "Run DMC vs Jason Nevins" of "Elvis vs JXL" or other pathetic re-hashes of once great songs by crazy Dutch immigrants.)
This of course will not last for all of the show, as that would be repetitive and monotonous and repetitive. We will have interesting competitions and we plan to ACTUALLY have people calling in, instead of emailing, through a platform where they can inventively insult/criticise us, our choice of music and our families.
We let people who listen craft and shape the show, otherwise we will craft and shape them.
