VP Learning and Development
SRC Elections 2011 // 0200-0300 01.03.11
vp learning & development
VP Learning & Development is a role that carries a range of positions; bridging both the sobriety of following the University’s academic policy as well as the less sober mess of Freshers Week. The in coming VP will be thrust into the dizzying hectic world of organising the ‘best week of your life’, before midway through September being dragged back to their desk for a year of reading policies and sitting on committees.
Issues including fees, advisers of studies, class reps, exam timetables and a range of other bits and pieces that play a part of Glasgow student life are all under the remit of VP Learning & Development, so there should be lots to get our teeth stuck into.
Running for the position this year is Razvan Balaban, Cormac Beagan, James Harrison, Kenneth Law, Neal Robb and Marc Smith. The episode also features insights from current VP Learning & Development Tuula Erikkson.
