bollychoon!! - disco and warped sounds from india
A special episode of chOOn!! based on electronic Indian sounds from the 80's.
The "what the hell is THIS?" factor is high, as is the camp novelty kitsch. Bollywood Disco classics aplenty as well as a few hidden gems.
We also take in some Kollywood sounds - Southern India's answer to their more famous northern brethren - with Illaiyaraaja and company showing how it's done. We finish with some killer classical ragas played on analogue synthesizers.
Take note, this thing is ready to take a cosmic disco dancefloor (or a moderately sized bedroom) to a higher plane... chOOn!! in!
