After 3 years presenting the BBC Radio 1 Award-Winning 'GRIND YOUR MIND' (Best Specialist Music Programming 2005), 'BLACK STATIC TRANSMISSION' is the next logical step in bone-splintering white light punishment and extreme outsider psychedelics.
Taking in everything from skin-grafting microscopic laptop manipulation to primitively de/re-constructed 'rock' forms, BLACK STATIC TRANSMISSION is essentially a mainline into the 'other' underground.
The show is global in the extreme, with a special focus on Japanese, American and UK outsider musics. This is a huge forum for local Scottish artists to promote any unreleased/private press material, so please send any material to Subcity Radio, marked FAO Chris Storey. Genre limitations are non-existant, so go wild.
