Night time playlist/Mixes

A wee idea I had the other day was that instead of just having the usual selection of tunes for the night time playlist we could put on some of the mixes that various Subcity DJs have done. There's usually a bunch being posted up on the forum so I imagine there should be more than enough to provide a little variety.

Also, It could prove an incentive for more people to try making some mixes.

What does everyone think?

Same. I keep having really good sessions on the decks lately and wishing I'd recorded them...

please ensure anything recorded is uncompressed ie: wav of aiff 44100 16bit

we are currently putting together a way of sending the station large files to help people who are prerecording their show etc.

my two cents
I think the overnight playlist should be comprised of the subcity music team chart, which I think presenters should contribute to.

I got the original CD I did it on too, so I could give it to the Subcity Office.

Oh quick question, what other shows do you want to promote in particular on Sunday night?

dunno about show's but everyone should be plugging our little shindig at the research club from 830-midnight.

This could work, but mixes should be no longer than 20-25min. If interested in submitting mixes, email them to music@subcity.org
